Passive play inside includes board games, reading , drawing, computer games and other quiet activities. Instrumental Programs Students in Years 2-6 can participate in the school's Orchestra, drumming group, guitar group or keyboard group. Students receive in-school performance and tuition as well as before or after school lessons. Additional, reasonable fees are required for these excellent opportunities. The school also has a lunchtime Recorder Consort in which students can play descant, tenor, treble, bass and sopranino recorders. These students perform at the Opera House each year. Knitting Club All students can participate in the Knitting Club on Wednesdays at lunchtime. Some "Grandparents" from Concord Community Hostel at Rhodes help our students to learn knitting. Lauraene Edmundson, one of our community members, coordinates the activities. The children have helped to knit blankets for sick animals at the Concord Vet Hospital, teddy bears for sick children at Westmead Childrens Hospital and blankets for the Exodus Foundation and "Wraps with Love".
